Prepare for Fretting
To prepare for fretting you need to clean out the fretslots - there are various tools you could use to do this.
Install the Frets
The frets are hammered in, then drop of superglue is applied underneath the both ends, to fill any gap and lock down the fret ends.
Clean Up Sides
Clean Up the Sides of the Neck - removing excess fret and side dot material from the sides of the neck.
Level the frets
There are a few steps to the fret dress procedure - this video lesson covers the first step - levelling the frets
Recrown and Polish the Frets
Before you start to Recrown and Polish the Frets they must be as level as possible! If you still have high spots repeat the previous step - level the frets.
