Back and sides are lovely and smooth but the top is bumpy along the grain.

If you want to just use something to wipe surfaces down with for cleaning and degreasing, use panel wipe/degreaser from car body shop supplies. 

All those jigs take up a lot of room though!

@tv1010101 Yep, we have to get inventive with storage. 

Didn’t get a lot done today due to the horizontal rain. But I did manage to knock up a headstock angle jig.
