@tej Try a junior hacksaw blade to clean out the fret slots, it worked for me. A normal hacksaw blade might fit if you sand the sides off the teeth.

The fretboard is clamped on and drying, when I wiped the squeeze-out off a fair bit of the excess has ended up in the ends of some of the fret slots. Other than buying a fret slot saw does anyone have...

You can use contact cement @koendb but that can make it harder to remove, if need be. Or possibly a rubber adhesive...
