I’ve made a bit more progress now, fixed the sloping truss rod channel by routing to the lowest depth and glueing in a strip to the base of the slot. Angled the headstock, thicknesses it and rough cut...

That fretboard is a nice piece of wood. I leave that unpainted.

The cap is about 7-8mm thick and the bodies supplied by Mark are 44mm. My question is, would the body and cap be too thick, should I (a) try to get a thinner body or (b) should I reduce the thickness ...
