I find it amusing that somebody who apparently has no issues with the black art of finishing with different substrates, effects and finishes is so terrified of some soldering!

@boo No worries I think there are some real electronics gurus in the forum so this is the place to ask. I only know the basics which aren’t that hard.

@mattbeels Sorry just having a rant. I played acoustic fiddle with microphone in a band with an electric guitar player and he always had to be the loudest. Pulled the volume stunt every time.

@rocknroller912 Well I like to use my volume. It’s mostly on full but I like to use it for dynamics like swells or to just clean up the sound. It would be weird to lose that control.

@boo Nothing complicated inside it’s just a carbon track connected to the rotating centre terminal. Either of the outside lugs can be connected to ground depending on which way you want it to turn. So...
