@robin sounds like the switch is dirty, before pulling apart try some violent switching or switch cleaner then some violent switching. Bad switch is the only thing that makes sense otherwise the neck ...

Another delay in fitting the hardware, can't find it. Searched the shed, house, garage and car last night, its not at home. Its got to be in the caravan somewhere, thats me back in limbo again.

Yesterday , I finished the tuning pegs by cutting them to length and adding the string hole. This is done with a little jig. Basically a block of wood with a tapered hole to accept the pin and a 1.2mm...

@tyreman I start working again on the renaissance guitar in september. If I find the time, I will start sanding for finishing before that. I just have too many things on my plate at the moment.

Interesting to watch the body finish evolve in (sort of) real time through the various stages. Request echo'd! Particularly the final coats that add the shine (what's in that tin?).
