Apparently his dad wanted him to play right handed early on and he would if dad was around....

Saw him on TV last at Woodstock and he was playing a RH one strung left handed. I think he played either way as well - don't know which way is best when playing with your teeth though!

Think he could play strung either way....

Try putting just a little more tension on the rod to see if that stops the rattling - a tensioned rod should not rattle - maybe it is just loose?
