It’s been a while since I saw the first guitar (no cigar box guitar) I ever made using the online build your own electric guitar course here at guitarmaking.co.uk

It still looks and plays great and the owner loves her to bits (he calls her Serina)

Pictures mid set up and finished in the case. The wood grain has started to pop as it’s aging. Finishing oil then wax and the owner polishes it every week ?

You’re not allowed to sell them ...

Hope the buyer was properly vetted!

That’s a co-incidence, I’ll be making a 335 when I’m next there!

One of my other friends must have seen the set up pictures of guitars as he’s decided to have his done..he wanted something very minimalist so this is what he got....

DCAD4657 C49E 4F24 87E7 FB3439CA11C7

to be honest I forgot I made this one..I lost loads of photos on my phone that I thought was being backed up so there are still a few guitars missing from the “dark years”.

Set up payments...sometimes there are advantages of being able to do this stuff!

But what will you drink tomorrow?

My head is still a little sensitive after last night's Bliss - don't normally drink (much) on school nights ...

I can't work out whether Ayr is a particular hotspot for talented musicians, or whether people travel from far and wide across Scotland to attend.

Standard is pretty impressive!

@david-johnson09  If you've got plastic corks in these bottles, iv'e found that they're good for cleaning sand paper.

@tv1010101

Ayr has always been a good place for live music. When I lived there in the 70s every weekend was solid music sessions from end of work on Friday to Sunday night closing time.

Some people call me a tool, others are less complimentary. Tools being useful things.
