 Do you guys use pre-made guide for Neck pocket or use straight edges and stops?

RE Set Neck build:
Waiting for Ebony fretboard blanks and advice on using 1″ Neck blank.
Meanwhile – I’m chuffed with progress on semi-hollow Telecaster style geetah.
Applied the mahogany back today. Will trim and sand tomorrow,  then seal prior to clear coating.

For anything showing wood grain I use acrylic clear supplied by the Paint Centre Newton Abbott  – the rattle cans have amazing quality adjustable nozzles. 
Prior to spraying I brush seal grain first.
 
6 weeks to cure in my dry-room.
