I find it amusing that somebody who apparently has no issues with the black art of finishing with different substrates, effects and finishes is so terrified of some soldering!

The only weak point in the article is the lack of scientific data to allow it to be called a thesis, That doesn't figure in the dictionary definition of "thesis". Thanks for the other information.
