@robin well I found a junior hacksaw blade, what I also found was a piercing saw i forgot I had so can easily get it out with that 🙂

@robin Thanks, I’d just assumed it’d be too wide but I’ll give it a test!

@tej Try a junior hacksaw blade to clean out the fret slots, it worked for me. A normal hacksaw blade might fit if you sand the sides off the teeth.

The fretboard is clamped on and drying, when I wiped the squeeze-out off a fair bit of the excess has ended up in the ends of some of the fret slots. Other than buying a fret slot saw does anyone have...

Got the fillet sorted, had to make a custom one to cover up where I’d routed the slot too wide. There are still two thin gaps where I screwed up the slot even wider but that shouldn’t be a problem. Un...

RE: First New Electric for a While

Being a tool junkie I bought a very nice carbide scraper burnisher from Workshop Heaven, but it seems you can use pretty much anything that's hard enough.

RE: Hello from Stockton On Tees

@clinton Good job I still cut wood by hand like this as I don’t have room for big machines, so have great respect for other people who do it.

Quite useful if you do not have the proper bandsaw. Takes a long time but works great Attachment : IMG_4085.MOV
