Today I got the cavity to final depth and made a cover out of the oak. Also got the headstock shaped and drilled. Next up sanding then I can glue in the neck.

Another busy day, did my belly and leg carve with handtools and then routed the pickup cavities

@boo except when trying to bang frets in, then all ebony is bad lol
 

Got my fret markers nice and straight, takes a bit of sawdust and superglue to fill these but I really like them. Been over the slots to clean them and now just sorting out frets to put in tomorrow.

Body cut out, neck roughed out, neck pocket done and heel angle done using a handplane.
 
Next up will be pickup cavities I think.
