It’s a fine router, smooth etc. I mainly use it for the truss rod channel. I find the palm routers much easier to handle for everything else. Stick a bigger base on them to make them even more stable. 

@brie Here’s a couple, basically mounted like a regular 2 point trem, then I added a recess and then cut the back end away so there was no restriction. Nice brass block to finish off the look.

@somethingnicer I used that on an oak fretboard, seems fine but it’s also super easy to re apply later if need be.
