Hello everyone, I've been wanting to make guitars for a long while. Looking forward to being flooded with great information and motivation. Does anyone know if there are any in-person gatherings of guitar makers in Scotland? Greetings from East Lothian.

Welcome Justin. There are a good few guitar builders in Scotland but I don't know of any particular gatherings in person. 

Doing one of Mark's in person workshops would be a good start. 

If you have the time to spare then you could enroll in the Stringed Instrument Making course at Anniesland college in Glasgow (Glasgow Clyde College)  

You'll get a lot of advice and encouragement here...... just ask the question and we'll try to help.
