@tv101 Yes it can be pricey but works well. Rub in a small amount with a soft cloth. Good for ebony where hand sweat leaves a deposit over time as it’s mildly abrasive, but not so much to wear away… Read more»

Ebony polish is what I use on violin fingerboard. It’s a brand called Old Wood and you don’t need much. -

I’m not sure if there is a definitive answer to this question, but as far as I know Dreadnought and Jumbo models are better for flat picking. I play finger style myself so I’ve often thought that a 12 fret… Read more»

Yes I used what was free at the time but not the greatest to work with. I will also have to varnish the inside as the chipboard made some small scratches on the wood which need sanding. -

Gluing the top on at last. Having a dry clamping run first and think I need to find some more old bicycle inner tubes before the real thing.
