@boo strings that are not played, but instead, resonate by playing the other strings, sympathetic resonance. They provide that shimmery tone in the background. In a tele or strat you might experience...

Getting it together now. I just need to find a few more bits to put on it, such as another string tree and strap buttons. Oh, I may want to fire up the soldering iron too so I can wire in the pickups....

@koendb Cheers, I use a bowl and dish router bit. Sort of trace the outline of the inner horns on paper then draw a nice circular shape and finally cut out an mdf template which i fine tune. Works gre...
