Is it like that the whole length?
@tej No, it starts from about the 12th and gets steadily worse going towards the nut.

So what’s your plan for this repair @tej? Glue on one veneer then drill out the four tuner holes and then repeat?

Hi @tej.
If you haven’t already glued it down, you could rout another 1mm off the headstock. If you have then be very careful not to rip it off with the router. Maybe you could just sand it down. 🤞
