I'm not 100% sure @boo but I think the Stewmac files could possibly be made by Iwasaki. You can buy Iwasaki files at the link below a bit cheaper than Stewmac.

I marked up the neck for carving to give me some guidance. 

I used a variety of carving tools and got to work. 

A bit more refining and it’s starting to look good.

More refining today and I cut the headstock shape out. 

@frank1985 I just had to get that volute right. 😉

I test fitted the tuners and it’s all looking good. It fits into the family nicely (although this one isn’t for me).
