@tej No, it starts from about the 12th and gets steadily worse going towards the nut.

@koendb Yeah I think there is enough on there to rectify the problem. I quite like the yellow dots now they are in, it’s a dramatic contrast.

That’s a bummer about the fretboard but it still looks thick enough on the bass side, you should be alright. Good luck!

Yeah it will be fine, it’s just a lot of work to get it right again. It’s a job I could do without but I’ve recognised it and know what to do about it. It should teach me a lesson too, it’s a warning for the future. 

I finally got around to getting more work done on this guitar build today. 

Pickup cavity routed and pickup test fitted.

Control cavity routed and controls test fitted. 

Finally got the body cut out on the bandsaw. 

The body is rough cut from the bandsaw but I couldn’t resist putting the neck in and putting everything in place. Tomorrow I’ll route the body shape to get a cleaner edge and then it’s a lot of sanding and a bit of drilling.

Ok, I’ve cleaned up the edge of the body, using the body routing template (pattern) and the router. I’ve also routed approximately 2.5mm deep, a recess for the control cavity cover plate to sit in.
