@boo The choice between black and white is a hard one. Usually I don’t like anything white but the scratch plate and chrome looks good. I also like the black and that’s the one I would choose.

Fingers x'd 🤞 The dent will raise as the water dries - sometimes it takes a few goes... I'm sure whatever is left will easily sand out or come out when you round over the end.

because in a Lap Steel the neck is never touched. I think the problem is stability of the neck ( twisting /warping ). But perhaps someone with more experience can discard my concern?
