My OCD engineering mind has gone into overdrive now. Isn't a 12" drum going be a 6" radius, rather than the 12" radius you want for your sanding blocks. @clinton I didn’t notice until @robin correcte...

Wrong info everyone thanks to @robin. You need a 24 inch bass drum not a 12 inch drum to make 12 inch radius blocks.
