Following on from a YouTube video comment about neck carving, Mark asked to me to let him know how it went, and because of his top notch tips I've finally carved a neck I was happy with at first play. I call this the 'shelfcaster' because the body is made from an Ikea pine bookcase (neck & fretboard were from guitarmaking.co.uk).

There are still too many "learning opportunities" on it but for 4th body - 3rd neck build I'm very pleased overall.
