Thanks @markbailey. I have not carved the braces. Will carve them the day I'm ready to glue it on. I will keep the clamps on it though to help prevent as much movement as I can. 🙂

Storing the back - TIP! After gluing the braces on to the back you should not carve them until you are ready for assembly - If you are leaving it for some time there is a danger of it changing shape.....
