Thats all looking good. If you’re not happy with the string height, why not recess the bridge by the thickness of the plate to make it flush with the body, that would give you bit of room for adjustment.

I like the idea of a straight string pull, thats what I try to do with the six string headstock design that I use. But, I do agree with the other guys that it looks out of proportion.
