Looks good @wayne_f. On the next fillet just get it close but not fitting in the slot. Then sand it to the final thickness with a sanding block to get the snug fit you want.Â

Routing the headstock angle revealed a defect exactly at the edge of where the headtock will be. Maybe I can get some grain filler to fix it. @wayne_f It may not be a problem, just keep going and see what… Read more»

@wayne_f Getting the blanks flat and level is essential I think and it’s one of the hardest things to do, remembering that the fretboard will be glued to one of the faces. Surface routing is a good way forward, perhaps… Read more»
