All strung up........not a bad wee job......a great learning experience. .....and it does play nicely. 😁 🙏🎶🙂🎸

Almost forgot to do the dot markers. 😬 .... only put side dots in...... 🎸🙂🎶🙏

Then I made a wee truss rod cover.... shaped the same as the headstock. 🎸🎶🙏🙂

Then preparing the bridge pin holes for the strings using a reamer. Then file a wee groove into the front of each hole 🙂🙏🎶🎸

Nice fit 🎸🎶🙏🙂

Next, the saddle. Again squaring up the blank Then keep sanding and refining until it fits the saddle slot. 🙂🙏🎶🎸

Take it back out and mark out and carve out the grooves for the strings 🎸🎶🙏🙂

Next getting it to the right height and curving over the top..... 🙂🙏🎶🎸

Almost there.... just making a nut and saddle..... first get the blank to roughly the size and squared... Then start getting into shape ...

Then a bit of final sanding. ....and adding some finishing oil. 🙂🙏🎶🎸

Not a bit of fret leveling and crowning Then a wee bit of polishing up. 🎸🎶🙏🙂
