Description
We have a limited number of workshop places every year (around 15 bookable in advance ), and it varies according to the type of guitars being built – the fee reserves one of those places for 2025 (and beyond if needed) and together we agree dates, spec and estimated costs. These build courses are intended to be flexible to accommodate as many different builders and their availability. There will be opportunites to come and build over a week, or spread your build over 2 or more visits (weekends or weekdays) If you plan to come with a friend, then you can choose the dates !
This Reservation fee is non returnable should you change your mind and decide not to come(but you keep the merchandise etc).
About This Course
The fee is for reservation of a 5-6 day course (set neck or bolt on) or 7-8 days( min basic thru neck), and a discounted Zoom design session
Self catering accommodation available locally, and for groups or families also -ask for information. We will have 2 double rooms available on site (not walking distance to local amenities)
We also offer ON-LINE step by step courses for build at home projects through our membership
Booking
The fee reserves a place on a course starting in 2025. You will also receive a T shirt or a Hat and a discount code for 20% off a Zoom design session (optional )
This fee is non returnable should you change your mind and decide not to come(but you still have the merch etc). We will ask for a deposit of at least 25% to turn the reservation into a firm booking – at least a month before the course starts or when it is fully booked. The full balance (plus any upgrades) is payable before the end of the course. Payments can be made in regular installments or lumps, by a variety of methods – please ask for more info
Deposits/are only kept if course places are cancelled within a month of the start date and the place cannot be filled – we are happy to transfer the booking to other dates
Dates and timescales- ASK US !
We will discuss with you dates available and your preferred timescale to start and finish your project – electric builds take place along side acoustics and can include any of the dates of other advertised courses( and local weekend dates not listed on the shop- ask for more info) If there are 2 of you coming together you can choose your dates …
All we need to agree at the outset are start dates, although if being given as a present these can be decided with the lucky receiver after the event !
