Thanks Darren, very kind of you, much appreciated. Here is another headstock shape I came up with. The neck is Cherry and the fretboard is Ebony. It’s also a Fender style, parallel headstock but I’m using a Gibson style nut, I’m sure @markbailey would call this “unusual”, and it is. I will incorporate Gold MOP dots for a dramatic contrast to the Ebony. This neck is for an existing Tele body.
I never throw off cuts away as I use them for making fretboard dots with a plug cutter in my pillar drill.
I'm really getting into my neck making and will probably come up with more headstock designs.

I still get a buzz when carving a neck (only done 4 so far....) - almost didn't believe it first time when over a few minutes it went from 3 facets to a smooth curve. My Firebird neck is a bit chunkier and feels better for some things.....
Measure once........ Measure again......... Sod it - make tea!
I love carving my own necks

It was one of the great parts of the build courses. Start with a square piece of timber and a rasp .... and then a bit of sweat and some wood shavings later, and you’ve got a wonderful feeling freshly carved neck in your hand.
Yes, yes, yes, I need to carve some more necks.

I am enjoying it more and more. I’ve built a few in a row recently and I think that is a great way to hone the skill and reinforce my understanding of the process. Indeed it is good to try and build different profiles, thin or chunky. I’ve got two more to make soon, one is a parallel Tele neck and the other is another scarf neck.
Let’s build some more neck, we can have a neck off! ?

That's great John. If I ever get to that skill level I'll give you a shout
@russ Oh you will get there, I’m almost sure Mark’s course “Build your own bolt on neck” covers everything you need to know for this method (non skunk stripe). I’ve built a few now and it’s just practice that improves with each one. You will be making great necks in no time, just keep going and build up your confidence. I only started building about four years ago. I’ve found that if I make one neck after the other and try and make them all the same, it reinforces the processes in my memory and develops my practical skills/techniques, and boosts my confidence with it. I’m always here if you need help.

I have too many guitars...said no one in the world..ever!
