What a week eh? Going to be short and sweet today folks...
Really just another excuse for a live get together Q+A session and site news.
I'm sure you all know how to string up your guitar but there is nothing wrong with a refresher and who knows? - someone might come up with a better way? Let me know in the comments...
Measure twice, cut once...
Really just another excuse for a live get together Q+A session and site news.
Hmmmmm
That makes me think.
These sessions are great - informative, fun, and a tenuous connection back to reality and the days when people could *meet* in a confined space and chat and make things and .... those were the days.
*BUT* there's a lot of pressure on Mark to always organise them, host them, find something interesting to present, etc.
And then there's the hassle of finding another Carol to assist when the current Carol gets sacked (every week).
How could we "get together" (virtually) without it all depending on Mark?
And in a way that continues to support his YT channel and this forum??

Could you guys head over to youtube and click 'set reminder'? - it would be interesting to see if it affect the number of views...
@markbailey Yep, will do.

@markbailey Maybe you could talk about what to use for nut lubrication (if needed), types of nut and tuners. I think some nuts have built in lube (Graphtech?) Locking tuners, vintage tuners and all in between. All of this depends on how we string up guitars.
Also, have you done a live stream on binding? If you have, I’ll shut up and go and watch it but if not, that would be very interesting.

Maybe something on the quality of tuners. I bought a cheap set for the bitsocaster that I assembled, the posts rattle about in their housings. The ones supplied in your kit are a world of a difference
I hope all is ok @johnnierox-boo and you got everything sorted..
@deej Yep everything sorted, I appreciate your concern.
