[Closed] Necks and fretboards

Topic starter

Glueing on the heel blocks, cutting fret slots and CNC machining the trim jigs for the neck mortise and tenon joint. I have now installed the truss rods and cover caps and then pulled the rods out after about 30 minutes. Took a bit of a tug but got them all out without any damage. They seem to push back in without too much force so once the tenons has been machined and the neck fit established they can go back in for the final time.

Hey Darren - great work!

this should really be in the 'showcase' section rather than the Q's:

Measure twice, cut once...
