Estimable Member Hello again
My bandsaw only cuts a depth of around 80-85mm. I purchased the neck stock from the shop. I believe it is 100mm. My plan is to take 15mm off it, then rout the truss rod channel using the remaining straight edge. My headstock is about 90mm wide, so I will need to glue some small 'ears' on it.
Does this seem reasonable?

Estimable Member The wood arrived today and the neck blank is around 83mm so it isn't an issue! 🙂

Thats great! You would have been OK with your plan if needed...
Measure twice, cut once...
