why is there a difference in shaft length among tuners? And what gotoh tuners Mark B. uses in the course?

Hi Benjamin, I suppose some tuners with longer shafts will be meant to be used on thicker headstocks, so it’s wise to consider the shaft length when buying. If the shafts protrude to far from the face of the headstock, there might not be adequate break angle on the strings from the back of the nut to the tuner posts.
The tuners Mark uses in his kits are Gotoh SG 381 , they are available in chrome or gold and with various button shapes. I’m using gold ones on my current build and I got them from axesrus.co.uk (around £46 if I remember correctly).
