My buddy Osceola set me up here! Hopefully I'll get a guitar or two built in 2021. Looks like a great source for the amateur luthier.
Hope everyone has a great New Year,
Robbie

@prodoozer Hey man, welcome to the forum and the guitar making revolution. You have found us and you will never want to leave. 😁
We are making a genuine guitar building family here and you will find it to be a very helpful place to find the help and information you need to get you on your way to building the guitars you always wanted to. There are YouTube live streams too, twice a week.
I look forward to seeing pictures of any projects you have worked on or are planning. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, we are all here to support each other. We all make mistakes but we all help each other fix those mistakes, it’s all part of the fun.
Don’t try and build a perfect guitar, just build a guitar.
The premium courses are fantastic. I signed up a few years back and had never made a guitar from scratch before, I make them all the time now, all because I did the online course. I have always tinkered around with guitars and had made a few kit guitars but never from scratch. My life has changed, the sky is now the limit.
Welcome.
Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸
@Rocknroller912,Thanks! I've got everything I need! I should have already built a few but I've been in a rut. This may get me jumpstarted again.
Yo Rob!! Hope this does get you going mate, I set George up with a month sub too so maybe my only guitar making buddy wont live 2 hours away lol. This place is great and the live streams are informative and very entertaining for sure.
BTW Rob is the one that got me started on this habit and we basically built my first guitar together he would say it was the blind leading the blind but he definitely had more knowledge than me at the time.
Hi from me too.
Looks like you've come to the right place. I built an acoustic a while back and learned a lot from the on-line course. Best present ever. Mind you, I did have to make some clamps. Mark says that you can never have too many clamps. I think a crate or two should suffice.
Seriously, there are some really friendly people here and they don't do the 'music shop' thing of being dismissive, (oh how I hate some music shops)....
I just pop in to the forum now and then to see what's going on and then pick up my Bootlegger and it's all OK.
Hope 2021 makes some sense for you
