Watching that documentary and seeing the emotion and dedication that Mark puts into his passion for guitar making and teaching gave me the desire to try
@russ Welcome the guitar making revolution, it’s not just a hobby, it’s a way of life. You don’t need luck when @markbailey is your teacher! Happy building, you will get all the help you need here.

Hello Peeps
Anotherstep closer to starting my First Build. Following Mark's online courses I've managed to build my Neck Angle Jig, Headstock Angle Jig and Headstock Thickness Jig. It's been a bit of a long slow process for me but I've almost built up my toolbox and with a bit of space and time I'll be ready to get my kit and get started.

Cheers Robin. I'm busy looking for a bit of Perspex just now.
You can get perspex just about anywhere nowadays @Russ. Every shop you go into has got loads of the stuff. Usually find it by the tills, or on the counters, etc.

Nice work Russ 🙂
I'm planning to make a headstock angle jig before attempting build no5 because whilst planes/rasps/sandpaper do work (eventually) I'm all for making life easier...
Guitar making is the art and science of turning expensive wood into sawdust.
I've managed to build my Neck Angle Jig, Headstock Angle Jig and Headstock Thickness Jig.
@russ They’re some good looking jigs, it’s all part of the fun building those. I still use mine even when I’m building other designs of guitar, they work for everything. You will use them for many more builds.

Hi Mark, I was trying to find your wee documentary film to show a friend but can seem to find it anymore. Do you know if it's still available somewhere?
Cheers,
Russ
