This is the guitarist in Sabrina Carpenter’s band playing Please Please Please on BBC Live (Youtube video).
Given the convention of not naming the original guitars being copied, e.g. T type or S type, let’s just say that this is a J type. But I’ve never seen pickups like that.
I’ve been testing a totally unique, never-been-done-before, pickup (more anon) and I’m suddenly worried that my inventor friend might have been pipped at the post.
Can anyone tell what these are?

Guitarists name is Caleb Nelson apparently, he's on IG and FB, could try dropping him a message maybe. Other than that I got nothing from googly! Lol
Hi James, I think the guitar is a jaguar copy made by Waterslide guitars.

Wow! Well done that man!
The web site is impressively uninformative but I’m going to assume that the pickups are traditional magnetic pickups in a funky retro cover. I should probably be following them on Instagram.
*mutters* Is this a case of style over substance?
Thanks Russ!

Thanks to @russ and @nsj. The Waterslide Guitars Instagram feed reveals that the pickups are Mojo pickups, handmade in the UK.

Must admit, now that I’ve found them, I’m quite taken with the Charlie Christian models.

I do like the look of them James and some of the others that he makes. I'll have to take a deeper look into this.
