Last week I mentioned that, due to our current lockdown in Scotland, I couldn't get access to a bandsaw. In normal times there's a couple of engineer workshops in town that offered me use of their bandsaws.
A big thanks to Boo for helping me out here. I've now got Boo's spare bandsaw that was sitting in a corner unused. I ordered a new blade for it, which arrived during today's livestream, so now there's no stopping me.
This is going to make life so much easier, so far I've cut my body template, and a little adaptor piece to fit my hoover hose into the bandsaw.
I also tried a bit of maple, it cuts through a 2" neck blank like butter. A huge bonus is that it runs off my 12V/240V inverter, so no need to run my mains cable through the puddles on the puplic pavement.
Thanks again Boo, much appreciated.

@robin Well, I could see you struggling, I had a spare and had the means to send it via courier. It was a no brainer. If a fellow fellow builder is in need and I can help, I will. We are attracting a great group of people to this forum and I think help and support can be more than just comments and pictures on this superb forum. @darrenking has kindly sent me stuff, as has @tv101 so there is nothing stopping us sharing tools, materials and resources.
Everyone keep building and connecting with our network. Rock n Roll 🤘😜🎸

I'm 99% sure that's the make of my original router.
Bought in the 1980s sometime (from B&Q!) and still going strong. If that bandsaw is half as good, then you @Robin have got a handy tool, and you @Boo are a generous man!
That's what makes a community. Sharing.
