You’ve had a busy couple of days Russ!

A very long couple of days @tv101. 😉

The next stage was to partially carve the ends of the other Top Braces prior to gluing them in place as it can be a little more difficult when glued up against the X-brace.

Then using some "harvested" wood from the soundboard, I made the soundhole plate

Plane the plate down to 2mm thickness. 

Then cut it out to shape.

Then glue it in place. Clamp the X-brace and top brace in place to initially hold it in place

Then made the bridge plate using "harvested" wood from the back.

Then glue it in place. Clamp the X-brace in place again initially to hold it in.

🙏🎶🎸🙂

Ready to have all the braces glued in place.

Whenever I see an acoustic build, I think to myself "maybe I should have a go".

And then when I read all the detail of the build, and realise all the skill and accuracy needed, I think to myself "maybe I'll build another electric".

Cheers @tv101. Looking at the work you have done on your electric builds, I think you could do an acoustic build. It's the same process..... just a few more little jobs involved.

Next, I glued on the X-brace and the Upper Bout braces.
