Then cutting it to size.

Then plane and scrape it flush with the sides.

Then a wee bit of sanding.

Next I routed out the purfling channel on the soundboard.

Then made the purfling for the top edges. Gone for simple black/white/black.

Then glued it on.

Then planed and scraped it flush with the soundboard surface.

Next I prepared the binding for both the top and the back.

I then held it in place in the mould.

Then I routed out the binding channel on the top and the back.

Then glued the binding on. First to the top .....

And then to the back....

Then I had to get the tape off again. A gentle heat with the heat gun....

Then I planed and scraped the binding flush with the body....

Then a wee bit of sanding.....

.... and a wee bit more.....

Now a bit of refinement of the dovetail joint to get an accurate fit. First I created a small chamfer along the edges.

Then fine adjustment of the tenon until it fits

Using a straight edge and neck angle jig to get it straight and at the correct neck angle

It's almost impossible to get it right first time so a few wee adjustments by gluing on some veneers.

Keep checking the angle and straightness against the centre line.

Then I glued it in.

Getting the fretboard in place. Using the rule to check its in line.

Once the fretboard is in the right position it's held in place with two locating pins. 

A little bit of sanding to the soundboard between the soundhole and the neck to ensure a smooth fit for gluing on.
