@eddie6string Actually, you have just given me some inspiration. I’ll let you know when I’ve worked it out. 😉👍

Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸

Probably acrylic  - you can use clear and paint the underside any colour you like prior to gluing and it comes out fine.

Bought some ebony for fretboard,  but it's started cupping (sold as 8% content), so it's all under revision at present.

Some very cool looking guitars underway there @eddie6string The grain in that green tele is lovely.

Guitar making is the art and science of turning expensive wood into sawdust.

These blue dots are clear acrylic rods (cheaper than chips!) With blue acrylic paint in hole (needed to hide brad point depression)

and on base and sides of rod.

Cut it with very fine blade (you'll probably burn through it) and polish (320 - 1000 grit) the underside before painting and gluing.

CA glue works well despite paint layer

That’s really effective, and gives me another idea @eddie6string - something else to experiment with.

Too many ideas, too little time!!
