@nsj Iβm liking the look of this build, great shape and having a Floyd in as well tops it. Β I do have something similar in the planning.Β
You are a great addition to this group and Iβll keep my eye on your progress.Β

Mostly fettling today with a bit of routing thrown in. Had to use the pickup template raised to get over the neck. Then as I forgot to do a small channel in the side before gluing up I had to work out a way to get from the neck pickup to the bridge. In the end I drilled at an angle from both pickup cavities, then deepened the rear cavity and made a channel to connect the two holes. I then glued another piece of mahogany into the cavity and finally routed it back to the correct depth. All nicely hidden.

The drawing looks great. I hope to see results after you build this. 😊Β
Made a start on the carve top, just stopped for food because I'm fading lol
Β
Got to say though, I'm thoroughly enjoying myself filing away in my own little world!
Β
Done a belly carve and routed part way for the control cavity, making sure I do the carve first so I know how deep to go rather than have a new unplanned opening lol
which one are you? 🤣 🤣

999 were one of my favourite of the punk/powerpop bands back in the day.Β That album came out a couple of years ago - if you like that sort of thing, there's a few great tracks on it, particularly considering their ages now ...Β

Just been watching your latest wee video Neil. I hope you don't take this the wrong way but I do love your unconventional ways of getting the job done. Ingenuity is a great skill to possess. Your making a great contribution to this forum.Β
