It seems to have a warmer and thicker sound……which I guess must be predominantly wood related.

Yes there is a hair line crack, which I think is only skin deep as they say….I hope so anyway….we”ll soon find out.
….and yes body size reduced, as well as headstock slightly – wood limitation width. -
