Lovely colours. Really like the back of the headstock.

@deej really happy to hear from you once again. Your early build videos was the pre cursor of me saying “I can do this” and it was because of you that propelled me to this level. Thank you.

I’m glad they inspired you to build and no thanks needed my friend, seeing you works of art is thanks enough..

@clinton Absolutely beautiful. It’s a pleasure to watch you work (it’s a heck of speed 🤣) and I’m proud of you for what you produce. Well done Clinton, keep it up.

And...... this is where I fall down, my bench.

I see you working with a flat bench and it just makes everything so much easier. Whether you are clamping, laminating, sanding, routing etc, it’s always easier when the bench is flat. I really need to sort my workshop out with a decent flat bench, the last one I made is driving me insane.

You inspire me too Clinton, with guitars and benches. 🤘😁🤘🎸

@boo thanks that means a lot to me. Ever try pocket hole jig joinery to make benches. You are gonna wish you had it sooner. Super easy. Got lucky I got a hold of a melamine top on my bench. Love it. Sturdy easy to clean. Able to slight sand it too. I draw my plans on it. Reversible too. Going yo build a coffee table/mini workbench sometime next week for my wife’s workplace. Will post a vid.

@clinton Yes, I would appreciate that video, I need to see how you do it so I can make a decent work bench. I could do with adding a couple of vices into it as well, any idea how to do that? Your videos are very fast (they are good to watch though) but too fast to learn from. Any chance you could slow bits of this one down a bit so I can see how you do the joinery?

Thanks for being you, keep it up my friend. 👍

@boo will post on my youtube. All pocket hole joinery. Wood glue and construction grade lumber. Inexpensive yet nice and sturdy.

@boo I have an irwin cheap 8 inch vice that I simply just bolted on the side and flushed to the top. Super simple and all you need.

@Deej I love my humble woodworking shed. It has been record setting rainy here in Kauai and unfortunately the wood flooring I installed got some water damage. Not a major emergency but needs replacing eventually. I literally built this shed from the ground up intended for commission furniture builds but now a full on guitarmaking space. I have been getting a few orders on some workbenches and tables for business workplaces actually. Have to start one tommorrow. Perfect opportunity to feature it in the forums. Believe me, it is a mess right now but I always tidy up before it gets out of hand.
