    I have used rattle spray oil based polyurethane and wipe on poly as well. Works perfectly well and gasses off faster in half the time as lacquer but I find not as better in result. @clinton This is…   Read more»

Can I ask if anyone knows what finish Fender use on the back of their necks to make them so smooth? 

@russ Probably a polyurethane clear with a matt binder in it.
