Today I have flattened the lacquer down to P600 grade, I’ll probably finish with P800 before relacquering. I did the top and back today and got rid of most of the imperfections that I was worried about. In these pictures…   Read more»

I decided to cut up some pieces of an old credit card and use them to jam the ferrule block into the cavity, it works well. I’m going to relacquer the whole guitar first before permanently gluing the ferrule block…   Read more»
