F-holes, generally, yuk. It’s an ancient design, on a modern instrument. F-holes, on a classic semi design (335) are, I suppose, a necessary evil. But still evil. Pretend f-holes on a modern design...

is there any reason not to use epoxy? I'm not sure that epoxy counts as a "tone glue". Why wouldn't you use good old favourite Titebond? If it's good enough for the boss ... And you should leave...
