I'm half tempted to fit it into a guitar for some on-board electronickery.

@tv101 Yes, great idea. I’d love to fit one in one of my builds. If you develop it further, I’ll buy one from you.

I’ll put another one on my next order.

Looks easy enough to wire into a guitar (just put it between the hot/earth and output jack).  The circuit board is small enough - just needs space in the cavity for the 9v battery.

👍

@tv101 cheers for that. You’ll have to walk me through it with a “how to” video or something. I don’t understand wiring at all and I struggle to figure out wiring diagrams. I was with you with “just put it between the......” and then I know nothing. 🤣

I’ll have to find a way of anchoring it to the inside of the cavity.

Exciting. 👍

WD-40 - The smell of a real man!!

That's the one that you "splash it on all over", right ????

I know you are joking about WD40 but please don’t use it or anything similar or your paint jobs will be ruined before you’ve even tried praying them. 😱

Sometimes, I actually almost-finish things ...

20210325 101146
20210325 101154
20210325 101201

My labelling kit only goes up to 11, whereas this needs numbers up to 12.

Simple little amp - I really only made it to practice my soldering skills.  Mini-toggle is a grit-switch (more, or less), following by tone, gain and volume.  Drives pretty much any speaker.  Sounds pretty raw through a 10" Jensen with no cab and surprisingly "proper" through a Marshall 1x12 cab.  If I get some time, I'll try recording it.

S'pose I should make these into a standard metal enclosure/box really, then @Boo could sparkly-ise them!

@tv101 Somehow I forgot to comment on this. Wow! This is so cool T, nice job mate.

Yeah I wouldn’t mind one of them and yes I can paint them up for you. If you get one to me, I’ll paint one for you and send it back. No charge, it’s a prototype. 😉👍
