Looks good @wayne_f. On the next fillet just get it close but not fitting in the slot. Then sand it to the final thickness with a sanding block to get the snug fit you want.

@mattbeels Its a 450mm carbon fiber rod. It soans from the 2nd fret all the way to the 22nd fret. Good coverage for warping prevention. Choose to make this a 24 fret bass with a skinny 19mm-22mm thick...
