Just down the road from the Ashmolean is the Music Instrument collection/museum  – interesting place. They keep the instruments in playable condition.
Many flim & TV companies hire their kit to be period correct.

Not sure how accurate it is?
Someone said to within 15% – how would you know?

In my wood/guitar store.

Hygrometer dropped to 32% with the Easterly winds at the moment. 
Gulf stream Sou’ Westerly will return it to 45% – 50% when it returns.
