@eddie6string Danish oil is my favourite finish although the climate here can be too cold and damp most of the year. Definitely a job for outside working due to the aroma.

Probably acrylic - you can use clear and paint the underside any colour you like prior to gluing and it comes out fine. Good tip - thanks @eddie6string!

@eddie6string I would probably recommend the latter. It’s obviously a bit more work to set it up but the results are more accurate.
