Further to this…It occurs to me that the side of the fingerboard will be masked for the primer coats which will need to harden before several coats of colour.Will I still be able to demask the sides before the colour… Read more»

My calculations indicate a drop of about 4mm from the end of the fingerboard to the (Wilkinson trem) bridge. About 2 to 2.5 deg. Does that sound about right?

If there is a large cavity to route out I notice some builders rough it out with Forstner bits and only use a router for the detail.Is this recommended?
